On 1 July 2010, TCG earned a Level 2 Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) rating for process improvement from the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

Process areas covered by the appraisal included Requirements Management, Project Planning, Project Monitoring and Control, Measurement and Analysis, Configuration Management, and Process and Product Quality Assurance. This milestone demonstrates that TCG has established reliable, repeatable software development and management processes and procedures based on the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) SEI Software Development Model that ensure high quality products are developed and delivered in a timely, efficient manner.
